The international quality assessments are an important part of the International Trade Fair of Agriculture and Food. Their role is complex as they:

• Stimulate the producers to an increasingly better, larger and more qualitative offer
• Motivate the producers to increase their know-how and animate them to constantly modernize production
• Care for the quality increase of particular products and their competitiveness on the global market. (The standards for the assessments at the trade fair of Gornja Radgona are suited to the European assessment standards and the products participating meet the demands of the EU market).
• Have an exceptional promotional meaning in Slovenia and increasingly so in our neighbouring countries too.
• Stand for consumer protection, as the quality distinctions given within the framework of the assessments taking place under the patronage of the Trade Fair of Agriculture and Food are a symbol of technological perfection, irreproachability and distinguished taste.

One of the principal aims of the trade fair company Pomurski sejem for the coming future is to continue increasing the international meaning of quality assessments being held under the patronage of the International Trade Fair of Agriculture and Food.
