Open Public Competition 33rd Slovenian Packaging Oscar

For many decades, the Slovenian Packaging Oscar has been the most prestigious acknowledgment in Slovenia, awarded to producers, packers, designers, inventors and authors of technical improvements to packaging, coming from Slovenia and abroad.
Nominations and awards show the concern of all participants for the protection of content, consumer and nature, as well as the practical aspects, esthetics, communicative efficiency on the market and technical perfection.

The evaluation rules comply with national and European rules and regulations governing packaging and waste packaging, as well as with the rules of the competition "WORLDSTAR FOR PACKAGING". Therefore, the entry into the Slovenian, European and global market and to the international competition for packaging quality is wide opened for nominees and the award-winners.

Every even year, the Slovenian Packaging Oscar is announced at the INPAK Fair, which, since 2008, takes place in Gornja Radgona, at the crossroads of four countries, simultaneously with the AGRA Fair. On a special fair exhibition, the entered products enjoy the attention of over 130,000 visitors of these two fairs. In 2010 the products will also be displayed at a special exhibition on the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia, as well as at its continuation within the scope of the 22nd Biennale of Industrial Design in Ljubljana.
