SPECIALIZED EXHIBITIONS

The Slovenian Hunting Association and its local units have prepared an interesting exhibition presenting Slovenia as one of the last oases for large wild animals in Europe. Another topic of the exhibition will concern the natural habitats in winter.
In cooperation with local clubs and with the Slovenian Technical Museum, the Slovenian Fishing Association will present the importance of the river Mura and its protected fish species, the Fishing Museum of Bistra, a multi-media presentation of “fish in Slovenian waters”, activities with young fishers and fly tying.
The Centre for the promotion of sport fishing and fishing tourism – Racoon d.o.o. has prepared a presentation of its publishing activities (magazines, new books and films), a presentation of equipment and tourist offers for leisure in nature in Slovenia and abroad and a sales exhibition of pictures by Mongolian artists.
The Slovenian Alpine Association will present the activities of the Commission for the protection of the alpine environment, of the commission for cycling tours and their activities with young people.
The Slovenian Forest Service will present Alpine game such as the chamois, the mouflon, the Alpine ibex and the Alpine marmot.
The Slovenian Association for Falconry and the Protection of Birds of Prey will display the falconer’s activities and equipment as well as live birds of prey. Further, practical daily presentations of falcons are being prepared.
The enterprise G20 d.o.o. – Danijel Gospić has organized an exhibition of fish and equipment needed in modern fish farming.
The caving club Planina will show an exhibition on speleology, special caving and diving equipment and present the cave Planinska jama and the karst field Planinsko polje.
